Nintendo Switch Lite Hands-On Impressions: Good Things, In a Smaller Package
At $199 and in three different colors, the Switch Lite is to the Switch what the 2DS was to the 3DS. Just as the 2DS dropped some of the features of the 3DS for more portability and a lower price, the Switch Lite does something similar, removing docking support and keeping the controllers built-in rather than removable.
It's not specifically aimed at the latent Pokemon crowd who plan to play Nintendo's upcoming Pokemon Shield and Sword, but I think it goes without saying: This is being introduced as a Pokemon device for people who don't want to go all-in on the Nintendo Switch experience.
