PS5: Sony Aims to Sell 7.6 Million Units By March

Sony is aiming to shift more than 7.6 million PS5 units by the end of March 2021. As reported by Bloomberg, the Japanese company has surpassed analyst expectations and raised its profit outlook by 13% ahead of the launch of the PlayStation 5 in November. This includes a plan to sell more than 7.6 million units of the PS5, which would be "more than the PS4 managed in its first fiscal year." The plan was detailed by Sony's chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki during a quarterly earnings briefing held this week.
